New England Member Brings Unique Perspective to NASF Board
Chris Capalbo, vice president of operations at New Method Plating and member of the New England Chapter of the National Association of Surface Finishing (NASF), is one of four recently appointed to the Board of Directors. He represents the third generation of Capalbo family members, carrying on the strong legacy his grandfather created at New Method Plating in 1931. With recent McKinsey research study reporting only 30 percent of family businesses surviving into the third generation of ownership, this is quite an accomplishment and allows Capalbo to bring valuable business insights to the organization.
When responding to his appointment to the Board, Capalbo commented, “I am honored to join the NASF Board of Directors. I look forward to collaborating with an exceptional group of professionals who share the same commitment in building a sustainable future for our industry.”
Capalbo is one of 18 Board Members representing companies throughout the country who work together to ensure that NASF operates to its fullest capacity for its members and the success of their businesses.
